I recently did some new work, which I call ‘Shack Ships’. If we look at shack that cover such a big part of our surroundings, we often or almost always forget about the beauty inside. I love the textures and colours the rusted corrugated metal creates. The circles that I used on some of them, come from African textile design. #ceramicsculpture #ships #coloured slips #corrugatedmetal #textiledesign

Fireplace mosaik in the making. First everything is done on a net on a flat surface. It is then cut into smaller sections and fixed to the fireplace with tile adhesive.
